The AFRDS is a fundraising industry professional association that provides helpful resources such as a fundraising handbook and fundraising “report card” on their website.
The Ann Bancroft Foundation gives grants up to $500 to Minnesota girls, age 5 through high school graduation, to fund experiences to help them work toward their dreams. Art classes, swimming lessons, robotics camps, junior Olympic volleyball, Boundary Waters canoe and camping trips, and more! Our grants are as diverse as the dreams girls have.
Gardens are places for kids to connect to real food, explore new flavors and talk about where our food comes from. For many years we’ve offered GRANTS FOR GARDENS donations to schools and other educational programs that help put children in direct contact with growing real food. The grant is open to college professors and school teachers and asks applicants to write a 300-450 word essay or create a 1-2 minute video that explains how they or their students use internet-connected technology in the classroom. ClassWallet is a website where funders can make donations and teachers can access those funds to purchase needed classroom materials from sponsoring businesses like Amazon, Scholastic, Office Depot and others. Contributions through ClassWallet have the same tax deduction status as those made directly to the school.
The ClassWish website allows teachers to create a “Wish List” of the materials needed for their classrooms. Supporters then contribute money designated for specific K-12 schools or teachers. ClassWish then purchases the materials and has them shipped directly to the school. ClassWish is a nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible.
The 2017 Crayola Champion Creatively Alive Children® Grant Program provides grants for innovative, creative leadership team building within elementary/middle schools. The Jeffers Foundation is partnering with Eagle Bluff ELC to provide scholarships for eligible schools (grades 4-6) interested in participating in their Residential School Program. The Kids In Need Foundation provides offeres a number of programs, including free school supplies to the Resource Centers in our National Network across the country where teachers go to get free supplies for their students. All supplies donated to us by manufacturers and retailers go immediately to the Resource Centers.

Each year Raytheon recognizes up to 30 teachers as “Math Heroes” for their effective, innovative methods to promote student enthusiasm and achievement in math and science. Nominated by students, parents and school administrators, these middle and high school math and science teachers are honored for using interactive and creative learning approaches to make math real and relatable for their students. Each Math Hero receives a $2,500 award and a matching grant for his or her school. Winners are selected based on compelling submissions from nominators on the effective and creative ways teachers work with students in math and science, drawing on new and advanced approaches.

The purpose of this grant is to encourage the innovative use of technology and other tools to “help teachers and students visualize and concretize mathematics abstractions…” (Principles to Actions). When used appropriately, they can enhance other effective teaching and promote meaningful learning opportunities for students. For 2016-17, grants with a maximum of $3,000 each will be awarded to persons currently teaching mathematics in grades Pre-K-12. The Principles to Actions Tools and Technology Guiding Principle states that “an excellent mathematics program integrates the use of mathematical tools and technology as essential resources to help students learn and make sense of mathematical ideas, reason mathematically, and communicate their mathematical thinking.”
Grants to improve academic achievement of students in U.S. public schools and public higher education institutions in any subject area(s). Grant funds may be used for resource materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, technology, or scholars-in-residence. The majority of grant funds must be spent on materials or educational experiences for students. Grant amounts are $2,000 and $5,000.

The Target Field Trip Grants program provides funds for K-12 field trips in order to give students throughout the country the opportunity to explore more of the world outside the classroom. Last year, 5,000 grants of up to $700 each were be awarded to educators, teachers, principals, paraprofessionals, and classified staff who are employed by accredited K-12 public, private, or charter schools. Types of eligible trips include art, science, and cultural museum visits; community service and civic projects; career enrichment opportunities; and other events or activities away from the school facility. Funds may be used to cover trip-related costs such as transportation, ticket fees, food, resource materials, and supplies.
Your school can earn money equal to 1% of all purchases made on a Target VISA card by those participating in the program. If you have a Target VISA card you can participate by calling Target at 1-800-316-6142.
The Minnesota Twins Community Fund Youth Coaching Grant Program will distribute grants of $100-$2,000 to assist youth baseball and softball organizations in recruiting coaches for the youth teams in their leagues.
This Youth Baseball/Softball Grant Program provides financial support to youth baseball and softball capital projects located in Hennepin County.
The Junior Twins Program provides youth baseball and softball organizations in the Upper Midwest with monetary grants (up to $5,000) and resources they need to promote their league and recruit new participants, as well as train coaches, purchase necessary equipment, and administer their league.
The Twins Community Fund’s Twins Fields for Kids Program provides financial support to improve baseball and/or softball facilities for youth in the Upper Midwest and Southwest Florida.
The TwinsCare Tickets for Kids Grant Program of the Twins Community Fund exists to bring underserved youth to Minnesota Twins regular-season baseball games at Target Field. The program distributes one-time annual grants of game tickets to nonprofit organizations serving youth and families.
