AMERICAN SWEDISH INSTITUTE | Behind the Scenes

American Swedish Institute is a beloved museum and cultural center in Minneapolis that is a gathering place for all people to share experiences around themes of culture, migration, the environment and the arts, informed by enduring links to Sweden. We invite you to include us in your library of MN destinations for your post-Covid tours.

Go behind the scenes and tour ASI’s material collection to explore ASI’s treasure trove of interesting objects. Learn how staff preserves Swedish and Swedish-American history and culture through curation, and listen to the fascinating stories that bring each object to life. Groups have the option to customize this experience by sharing a little about their interests beforehand.
