Jul – Christmas – is the most important time of year for many Swedes, filled with julbords (special Christmas smörgåsbords), Santa Lucia celebrations and a visit from Tomte. Learn about this special time of year, from Advent to julgransplundring (the last plundering of the Christmas tree). Your group will have private access to ASI interpreters and up-close views of artifacts during this highly interactive, live program. An ASI educator will use educational artifacts – not usually seen by the public – to tell the stories tied to Swedish Christmas traditions.
