The annual full color, printed Guide has proven to be exceptionally popular with educators, group leaders and planners of educational & recreational field trips, day trips, bus tours, activities, performers and entertainers in the niche markets served by the Guide:

Schools and the education market (public, private, charter, homeschool co-ops, etc)

The Guides are designed to be “desktop companions” for planning teams and individual planners, and to direct them to your website. They are distributed in person at conferences we attend & also directly to schools & organizations. The digital versions of each Guide are published on our website & promoted (with active links) in our monthly email Alerts.

MATERIALS & AD SPECS

We will print in June, with distribution beginning in July for next year.
All advertisers must create their own ad.
Partners have first choice for all Premium ad positions.

Please note the dimensions of the 2018 GUIDE trimmed (same as last year’s Guide):
 • 6″ (H) x 9.75″ (W) – this is not the standard ad size, but the trim size of the Guide.

1. STANDARD AD

5.5″ (H) x 4.5″ (W)

– NO – bleeds (your ad will be centered on the page) – See the 2017 Guide. There are 2 Standard Ads per page.
– YES – Put a hairline rule around your ad.
– NO – crop marks
YES – Your finished and approved ad must be submitted as a PDF file.
NO – proofs – make sure your ad is approved for printing when you send it in.

2. UPGRADE: Full Page Ad

5.5″ (H) x 9.25″ (W)

This is a double sized ad (2 standard ads)
– NO
 – bleeds (your ad will NOT bleed off the page) – See the 2017 Guide.
– YES – Put a hairline rule around your ad.
– NO – crop marks
YES – Your finished and approved ad must be submitted as a PDF file.
NO – proofs – make sure your ad is approved for printing when you send it in.

3. UPGRADES: Premium Ads

Front Cover – Photo (no type on photo) – trim size: 6″ (H) x 9.75″ (W)
Inside Front Cover – Full Page (no bleeds) – trim size: 5.5″ (H) x 9.25″ (W)
Center Spread – 2 Full Pages (full bleed) – trim size: 6″ (H) x 19.5″ (W)
Inside Back Cover – Full Page (no full bleed) – trim size: 5.5″ (H) x 9.25″ (W)
Back Cover – Full Page (full bleed) – trim size: 6″ (H) x 9.75″ (W) with space for mailing

REMEMBER…
• Images & graphic elements must be high resolution (300 dpi), with all art prepared for 4-color process printing.
• Make sure your type & images are embedded into your PDF document.
• Your ad(s) must be submitted as an approved PDF document ready to print.
We do NOT send out proofs. Submit your ad approved and ready to print.
