IRON RANGE TOURISM | Winter Birding at Sax-Zim Bog is Delightful!
The Iron Range offers year-round wildlife. Satisfy the bird-watcher in you – see Bald Eagles, Great Gray Owls, Rough-Legged Hawks, Boreal Chickadees and Grosbeaks. Who knows, you might even see some of our larger wildlife as well! We offer online learning webinars, too! BUT even though our welcome center is closed…we have all of our feeders up. The Outhouse will be open and the trails around the Welcome Center and the boardwalks at Warren Nelson Memorial Bog, Winterberry Bog, and Fringed Gentian Bog are open to hike.
