LANDMARK CENTER | Urban Expedition Returns In-Person

Celebrate the 18th Season of the Beloved Cultural Series at Landmark Center. Urban Expedition provides community members a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in cultures from around the world.

Attention wanderlust and culturally curious families! Landmark Center’s popular Urban Expedition series has returned in-person for its 18th season. As part of the Sundays at Landmark series, Urban Expedition provides community members a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in cultures from around the world. This year takes attendees to China (January 16), Ghana (February 13), Greece (February 27), Peru (March 20), and Italy (April 24). The events will run from 1-3 pm and are free to attend. It is the perfect way for youth to learn and appreciate the customs and traditions of different destination countries!

“We’re thrilled to have in-person events return to Landmark Center,” said Alicia Wiesneth, Community Programs Director. “After a year of fully virtual Urban Expeditions we are excited to welcome our cultural partners and community members back to the building to explore global experiences right here in Saint Paul.”

Landmark Center will collaborate with CAAM Chinese Dance Theater, GhanAM, St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Mi Perú, and The Italian Cultural Center to present authentic cultural experiences that include music, dance, crafts, displays, cuisines, and more. Attendees will also be provided with their very own “passport” for the series. Guests are encouraged to get theirs stamped at each Urban Expedition event for a chance to win a special travel souvenir!

Urban Expedition is sponsored by Ramsey County, Ecolab, Xcel Energy Foundation, RBC Wealth Management, and Hubbard Broadcasting Foundation, with additional support from Travelers and Global Minnesota. For more information visit landmarkcenter.org/urban-expedition or call 651.292.3063.
