Plus, get real-time interpretation about wildlife that we view during the trip around the lake. We’re sure to see some bald eagles, gulls, and other native birds, so bring your binoculars and burning questions about Lake Pepin and native wildlife.

The National Eagle Center sits along the banks of the Upper Mississippi River in the heart of the Driftless Area. We enjoy spectacular natural beauty and a bounty of native birds and wildlife year-round. As part of our mission to “Connect people with eagles in nature, history, and cultures”, we are pleased to offer interpretive cruises on the Mississippi River and Lake Pepin. These cruises offer our guests excellent opportunities to view and learn about bald eagles and other native wildlife, the history of our natural resources, and the current threats they face from our expert naturalists, and relax while enjoying the natural beauty of the Upper Mississippi River Valley.
