Northrop offers approachable, unique, and exciting matinees. Our 2018-19 Dance Season student matinees are filled with opportunities for students to explore and to imagine new ways of thinking. Students will collectively gasp in awe as they witness the beauty and physical abilities of the human body. They will experience first-hand the awesome sensation of being at a live performance, and a part of an audience that explodes into applause. LEST WE FORGET WORLD WAR I ARMISTICE CENTENARY CONCERT – Sun, Nov 11, 4:00 pm – Oratorio Society of Minnesota,  and Northrop Present   Carlson Family Stage featuring the Oratorio Society of Minnesota Chorus and the U of M School of Music Men’s and Women’s Choirs as well as Northrop’s newly restored, historic Aeolian-Skinner Pipe Organ.

Northrop is also always buzzing with both free and ticketed events including world-class dance and music performances, speakers, world leaders, film, exhibits, and more, and has an on-site café, coffee bar, and catering.
