Sauk Centre is home to the first American to win the Nobel Prize for literature, Sinclair Lewis. Take a guided tour of his boyhood home. This is the area that inspired Lewis to write his famous novel “MAIN STREET”, modeled after our Main Street. Sauk Centre also offers reading, writing, history, garden and even ghost tours (Palmer House).
