Sidekick Theatre kicks off their 7th season with a terrific line-up of shows for 2021 at The Ives Auditorium in Bloomington, including the musical comedy hit, BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO, which features the music of Neil Sedaka. There are weekday matinees with an optional lunch available, which are perfect for travel tours, bank clubs, church organizations, senior clubs or a social outing with friends.

A rousing celebration of the legendary Johnny Cash. His unique sound embraced country music, rock and roll, rockabilly, blues, folk, and gospel, so expect this concert to be jam-packed with such hits as “I Walk the Line”, “Ring of Fire”, “Get Rhythm” and of course, “Folsom Prison Blues”.

During the summer of 1967 in San Francisco such groups as The Mamas and the Papas, The Doors, The Byrds and the Beatles inspired a cultural revolution that swept across the country. This concert captures the heart and soul of the era with a dynamic band whose exacting musicianship underscore such classics as “California Dreamin”, “San Francisco”, “Light My Fire”, and “Piece of My Heart.”

Featuring songs spanning the entirety of Linda Ronstadt’s career in folk, rock, jazz, and country, plus her legendary collaborations with such artists as Dolly Parton, Emmylous Harris and the Eagles. This concert includes such hits as “Different Drum”, “You’re No Good”, “When Will I Be Loved” and “To Know Him Is To Love Him”.
BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO
Musical Comedy Featuring the Songs of Neil Sedaka
Oct. 6 through Nov. 18
Set at a Catskills resort in 1960, this is the sweetly comic story of Lois and Marge, two friends from Brooklyn in search of good times and romance over one wild Labor Day weekend. The score showcases 18 Neil Sedaka classics, including “Where the Boys Are”, “Sweet Sixteen”, “Calendar Girl”, “Love Will Keep Us Together”, and of course, the chart-topping title song.

The Rat Pack is back just in time for the Holidays! This tribute to Sammy Davis, Jr., Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin will feature such classic tunes as “Luck be a Lady,” “Fly Me to the Moon” and “New York, New York,” as well as Christmas favorites like “Winter Wonderland” and “Baby it’s Cold Outside.”
