Sidekick Theatre kicks off their 7th season with a terrific line-up of shows for 2021 at The Ives Auditorium in Bloomington. There are weekday matinees with an optional lunch that are perfect for travel tours, bank clubs, church organizations, senior clubs or a social outing with friends.

A melodious salute to the ’50s, 60s and 70s, through the classic songs of Jerry Lee Lewis, Elton John, Billy Joel, and more! This fun-filled musical trip down memory lane features a full band with Brian Pekol on keyboards singing such tunes as “Great Balls of Fire”, “Rocket Man”, “Benny and the Jets”, and of course, ”Piano Man”.

July 21 & 22 @ 1pm
A rousing celebration of the legendary Johnny Cash. His unique sound embraced country music, rock and roll, rockabilly, blues, folk, and gospel, so expect this concert to be jam-packed with such hits as “I Walk the Line”, “Ring of Fire”, “Get Rhythm” and of course, “Folsom Prison Blues”.

Featuring songs spanning the entirety of Linda Ronstadt’s career in folk, rock, jazz, and country, plus her legendary collaborations with such artists as Dolly Parton, Emmylous Harris and the Eagles. This concert includes such hits as “Different Drum”, “You’re No Good”, “When Will I Be Loved” and “To Know Him Is To Love Him”.
BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO
Musical Comedy Featuring the Songs of Neil Sedaka
Oct. 6 through Nov. 18
Set at a Catskills resort in 1960, this is the sweetly comic story of Lois and Marge, two friends from Brooklyn in search of good times and romance over one wild Labor Day weekend. The score showcases 18 Neil Sedaka classics, including “Where the Boys Are”, “Sweet Sixteen”, “Calendar Girl”, “Love Will Keep Us Together”, and of course, the chart-topping title song.
Weekday Matinee Performances at 1pm
Optional Lunch available prior to matinee show and served at 11:30am in a separate dining room adjacent to the auditorium.
