Designed for education and available for groups of 20 or more. Your class may experience Wisconsin/ Minnesota history in the upper St. Croix River Valley while riding transportation from the past.

Take a field trip to Taylors Falls and ride the authentic paddlewheel boat through the historic Dalles of the St. Croix River. Study the fur trade, riverboat commerce, lumbering and logging, Indian history, and immigration-related to the St. Croix River Valley.

The cruise departs at 11:00 am and returns at 12:20 pm. Our boat trip will be open to the general public. The curriculum is a combination of steamboat, logging, and geology and will be narrated while underway.
