THE WINGS OF THE NORTH | Aviation History Comes Alive in the Twin Cities!

Wings of the North Air Museum offers an exceptional aviation experience! From WWI art and artifacts to the Space Program, we are home to airworthy World War II aircraft. The museum is located at Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie.

The Wings of the North Air Museum features a large collection of aviation art and artifacts from World War I to the Space Program. We are home to airworthy World War II aircraft including both a P-51D Mustang and an F4U-4 Corsair, perhaps the two premier fighter aircraft from that war. Another aircraft is a Boeing Stearman which was based in Minneapolis.St. Paul during the war. In 1943 it was flown twice by George HW Bush as part of his training in the Navy. We are also the home of the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame which currently honors 216 people with Minnesota connections who have made significant contributions to aviation. Group tours for up to 50 people can be accommodated and there is bus parking at the front door. The museum is handicap accessible with no stairs and both the main artifact gallery and the aircraft hangar are in the same building. The Wings of the North Air Museum is located on Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie MN.
