The Church Basement Ladies are returning to the Ames Center with A Mighty Fortress is Our Basement. Running September 6- November 12 and January 4-February 14, it’s 1960 and Beverly’s getting confirmed, Pastor’s getting married, Karin learns to drive and Vivian wins a blue ribbon. Don’t miss it!

The Church Basement Ladies series began its journey back in 2005 and has 9 different installments. A Mighty Fortress is number 4 in this series and is a fan favorite. These shows are inspired by the books of Suzann Nelson and Janet Letnes Martin including the popular “Growing Up Lutheran.” The book for the musical was written by Greta Grosch and the music and lyrics by Drew Jansen.

Troupe America, under the guidance of producer, director Curt Wollan, has been bringing joy, delight and laughter to audiences for over 40 years.

These shows at the beautiful Ames Center Black Box Theater in Burnsville are perfect for groups of 10 to 140.
