All of our concerns now are with the safety and security or your group during the state of emergency with the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). We look to the future with optimism and look helping you with healthy field trip planning.

Visit Valleyfair on May 21st as we present two returning educational programs: Engineering Day and Marketing Day. These programs are sure to open your students’ minds to the behind-the-scenes action of a family amusement park. From rollercoaster construction to executing events, our educational programs offer an engaging first-hand look into Minnesota’s favorite outdoor classroom!

Engineering Day | May 21st, 2020
Cars flying on the tracks, zipping around hairpin curves, and inverting guests at mind-boggling speeds. Wind in our hair and lumps in our stomachs when we plunge down a dizzying freefall. We know the effects of Valleyfair’s epic thrill rides but really, how do they work? Students will learn how we use technology and science to build a park suitable for thousands of guests each day as we welcome back an expert from Barr Engineering, the company that helps control those thrills on your favorite attractions.

What does it take to sell FUN? At Marketing Day, learn from some of the industry’s best professionals on the ins and outs of developing and executing an intricate marketing campaign
for our newest summer event, Grand Carnivale! Students will also have the opportunity to interact with the panel as they share their insights and give tips on how to prepare for a rewarding career in this dynamic field.
