WORLD’S LARGEST BALL OF TWINE ROLLED BY ONE MAN

It Began in 1950 in a Basement & Ended Up as a 9-ton Ball of Twine!

For 29 years Francis Johnson wrapped his twine until the ball reached a diameter of 12 feet and weighed 17,400 pounds. 3 other balls of twine in Kansas, Wisconsin and Missouri have been amassed (as “me too, me too” competitors) but this one was the first… and is on display in Darwin (between Litchfield and Willmar).
